State social worker gets prison for elaborate Medicaid fraud

A state social worker in Bridgeport was sentenced to 2 years in prison Thursday for cheating the state out of millions of dollars by creating sham mental health clinics and using them to bill Medicaid for the treatment of non-existent patients.
